Hours of operation are 6 am
7 pm, employee hours vary
Schedule:
24 hours per week
No weekends or holidays What you will need:
1+ year of cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation experience highly preferred ECG (EKG) interpretation skills
Exercise prescription and patient monitoring experience
Bachelor of Science degree in an exercise science or a related field (e.g. Kinesiology or Physical Education). Emphasis in exercise physiology preferred. MS preferred
Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (within 6 months of hire) What you will do:
Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients
Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including vital signs and ECG (EKG)
Modify exercise plans based on patient response and progress
Lead group exercise sessions, including warm-up and cool-down
Provide patient education on exercise, risk factors, and lifestyle changes
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
