Job Description

Adam Bishop Center (ABC), 1105 7th Ave., Jasper, AL 35501 Published August 4, 2026 Category Mental Illness Children and Adolescents Job Type Full-time Position Level Masters County Winston Description •$5,000 RETENTION BONUS• The employee will receive half after completing 6 months of employment and the remaining half after 1 year of employment. The School Based Mental Health (SBMH) Therapist position is responsible for counseling individuals or groups, developing and implementing a therapeutic treatment plan, and providing family support and education. The children who participate in this program are enrolled in counseling and treatment for behavioral issues. This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.

Requirements :

A master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work. Current/Valid driver's license and be 21 with an insurable driving record to meet driving insurability requirements. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type 40+ wpm. Employment requires a 5 day paid orientation held in Marion County, AL, Monday-Friday, 8:30a-4p.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00

PM Pay Rate:
