Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual, couples and family counseling sessions for clients with mental health issues
• Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Stay current on developments in the field of mental health counseling through ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field
• Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or Therapist
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to collaborate with prescribing professionals
• Strong crisis intervention skills to effectively manage high-stress situations
• Familiarity with case management principles and practices
• Experience in EMDR is a plus
• Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and resources is a plus.
