Job Description
Overview BINA Farm Center is seeking a compassionate, licensed mental health professional to facilitate equine-facilitated psychotherapy groups for first responders, veterans, and individuals living with PTSD and trauma. This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with the healing power of horses. No horse experience is required. We provide all equine-specific training, and you will work alongside an experienced equine mental health professional. We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in horses and believes in experiential, relationship-based approaches to healing. Responsibilities Facilitate equine-facilitated psychotherapy group sessions for veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors. Create a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed therapeutic environment. Collaborate with BINA's equine specialists and clinical team. Complete clinical documentation as required. Participate in training and ongoing consultation related to equine-facilitated psychotherapy. Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensure requirements. Required Qualifications Current MA licensure as an LMHC, LICSW, or equivalent independent mental health clinician Experience working with: PTSD and trauma, first responders, and veterans and military populations Strong group facilitation and clinical assessment skills Passion for experiential and trauma-informed therapy No horse experience is necessary. BINA provides comprehensive equine-facilitated psychotherapy training and mentorship. You will be paired with a mental health professional experienced in working with horses.
