ABA Behavioral Therapist - RBT $300 sign-on bonus

Job Description

Make a difference in the life of children with different abilities and their families. As a Behavior Therapist, you will be primarily responsible for direct implementation of treatment plans related to skill- acquisition and behavior reduction. Behavior Therapists also collect data and provide support when needed as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst. You will be working from client's homes, schools, and other community settings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Applied Behavior Analysis intervention to children with autism spectrum disorder and/or related exceptionalities Ensure all students' safety and implement all safety procedures Demonstrate principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Active and regular participation at all team meetings Works collaboratively with IOAs' staff, patients and families in order to provide behavior analytic services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities, under the direction and supervision of the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Implements interventions to reduce problem behavior under the direction of Board Certified Behavior Analyst Collects data as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of high school degree and one-year related experience in a caregiving or educational environment; hospital, school, daycare, special education or autism is preferred. Strong interest in working with special needs populations, particularly autism Valid driver's license and personal vehicle Ability to communicate and work in a team style environment Must have successfully passed criminal background screening Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Communication skills and be able to accept feedback Flexibility and adaptability Satisfactorily completed a minimum 40-hour RBT certification course from an accredited institution Must be working toward a RBT certification and obtain certification within 90 days.
