Job Description
Links ABA Therapy is seeking a BT/ABA Therapist to provide one-on-one, after-school ABA services to children with autism in Oakland, NJ. In this role, you will implement individualized treatment plans, teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and support behavior reduction goals using evidence-based ABA strategies. You will collect and record session data, maintain clear documentation, and collaborate closely with BCBAs, supervisors, and families. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in an after-school, on-site setting Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA or clinical supervisor Collect accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data during each session Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills Maintain clear, timely session notes and documentation in accordance with clinical and organizational standards Communicate progress and relevant observations to supervising clinicians and, when appropriate, to families Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings to improve clinical skills and ensure treatment fidelity Follow all safety, ethical, and confidentiality guidelines in alignment with ABA best practices and organizational policies Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques Behavior intervention implementation Data collection and progress monitoring Behavior support plan execution Child behavior management Therapeutic play-based instruction Parent/caregiver communication Session documentation and reporting Collaboration with BCBA/clinical supervisors Basic knowledge of autism spectrum disorders
