Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Intermountain Healthcare & Recovery Center, your responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms. Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with their unique needs and goals. Applying evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client healing. Providing ongoing education and support to clients and families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies. Monitoring client progress meticulously and adjusting treatment approaches as needed, ensuring optimal outcomes. Engaging with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care for clients. Remaining current with the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic strategies. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: Possession of a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building trust and rapport with clients.
