Description Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare & Recovery Center. Work Environment The work setting is primarily remote, giving you the flexibility to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while utilizing our comprehensive outpatient support resources. Our virtual platform ensures you have access to necessary tools and technologies to deliver high-quality therapy, monitor client progress effectively, and engage in teamwork with your peers in a supportive and encouraging environment. Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Intermountain Healthcare & Recovery Center, your responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms. Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with their unique needs and goals. Applying evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client healing. Providing ongoing education and support to clients and families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies. Monitoring client progress meticulously and adjusting treatment approaches as needed, ensuring optimal outcomes. Engaging with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care for clients. Remaining current with the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic strategies. Patient Population / Client Focus Your focus will encompass a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. You will work closely with these clients to create effective strategies for recovery and emotional well-being. Your role is pivotal in helping clients understand their mental health challenges and enabling them to develop tools for lasting change. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: Possession of a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building trust and rapport with clients. A compassionate and empathic approach towards understanding clients' experiences and challenges without judgment. Preferred Experience While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preferred experience includes: Previous experience in a clinical setting focusing on mental health therapy. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices. Experience in group therapy facilitation and individual counseling. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from
USD 70,000
to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
