Full Job Description Job Overview:
I am looking for an EMDR Therapist, to replace a clinician that is retiring. This position would take over her current PT caseload of clients. The hours are currently M, W, Th evening with a mix of in-person and virtual, and a few virtual daytime sessions. This is an Independent contractor position. Healing Elements Counseling is a private mental health practice located in Brook Park. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team. You will play a crucial role in helping clients improve their overall well-being and achieve their treatment goals. You will get to focus on your clients while we take care of the administrative tasks such as billing and insurance claims! We offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs and the needs of clients, from 8am-9pm Monday-Sunday and opportunities to work with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples.
You create your own schedule:
FT, PT, in-person and virtual/hybrid options available. Experience with children/teens and couples/marriage counseling is a plus!
Education:
Master's Degree (Required)
License/Certification:
LPC, LSW
(Required), LPCC, LISW Counseling or Social Work license in Ohio (Required)
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnosis and treat clients
Develop treatment plans with measurable goals that define services and interventions
Update Treatment plans according to documentation requirements
Document clinical services and client contacts
Skills:
Proficient in documentation and record keeping
Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
