Frisco, Prosper, Celina and surrounding North Dallas communities Variabilities is seeking a part-time Behavior Therapist/RBT for an immediate home-based client assignment in Denton. This position begins with approximately 8 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours as our caseload grows in Frisco, Prosper, Celina, and surrounding areas. Candidates should be comfortable consistently traveling to the current client's location in 76210 and interested in accepting future assignments throughout Variabilities' North DFW service area. Position Overview As an RBT/Behavior Therapist at Variabilities, you will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents in home and community-based settings while working closely with a supervising BCBA and caregivers to support meaningful progress toward individualized goals. We value naturalistic, compassionate, and engaging therapy that helps clients build functional skills while feeling safe, motivated, and understood. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community settings Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA Use a combination of naturalistic teaching strategies and discrete trial instruction Collect accurate session data and complete daily documentation, including SOAP notes Collaborate closely with caregivers and the supervising BCBA regarding client progress Maintain professionalism, reliability, and consistent attendance Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development Support a safe, positive, and engaging therapeutic environment Maintain professional communication with families and team members Our Ideal Candidate You are someone who: Has a genuine passion for working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities Can be playful, engaging, and connect naturally with children Wants mentorship and is eager to learn and grow clinically Values collaboration, professionalism, and compassionate care Is dependable, self-motivated, and emotionally intelligent Works well independently while also embracing feedback and support Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) preferred Preferred fields: Psychology, Education, Child Development, ABA, or related fields RBT certification preferred Candidates without certification are welcome to apply; training and support will be provided to obtain certification within 60 days of hire Experience working with children or individuals with autism/developmental disabilities preferred Reliable transportation required Comfortable working in client homes and community settings Ability to pass a background check Schedule Availability Monday-Friday availability preferred Daytime and after-school hours available Why Join Variabilities?
