You will provide compassionate care through various therapeutic techniques, including psychotherapy and crisis intervention, while fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients. Your expertise will empower individuals and families to navigate challenges, heal from trauma, and achieve their personal goals. What you'll do Conduct thorough client assessments and diagnostic evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans. Implement crisis management strategies to support clients in acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with complex needs Facilitate family counseling sessions that promote understanding and healing within family dynamics. Provide individual counseling Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and proper coding (ICD-9/ICD-10). Utilize telehealth platforms to provide accessible therapy options for clients unable to attend in-person sessions. Basic qualifications Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field. Valid state licensure as a mental health professional (LPC-A, LMFT-A, LCDC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.). Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in various settings (inpatient/outpatient). Preferred qualifications Familiarity with addiction counseling principles and grief counseling strategies. Experience with using play therapy and sand tray techniques Experiences with working with individuals that are diagnosed with PTSD and OCD Familiarity working with veterans and their families Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics and individuals with autism or special education needs.
