Pegasus Schools, Inc. is a growing residential treatment center providing care, education, and therapeutic services for up to 200 youth in a structured and supportive environment. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to provide individualized treatment and long-term success for the youth we serve. Position Summary The Therapist is responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy services to assigned residents within the residential treatment program. This position develops and implements individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and works collaboratively with interdisciplinary staff to support each resident's therapeutic progress. Essential Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family therapy Complete assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation Develop measurable short- and long-term treatment goals Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews Maintain compliance with licensing, documentation, and ethical standards Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support as needed Support trauma-informed care and behavioral interventions Collaborate with case managers, direct care staff, medical personnel, and administration Qualifications Must hold one of the following Texas licenses: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) LSOTP or ALSOTP preferred Candidates pursuing LSOTP licensure are encouraged to apply — training and supervision may be available for the right candidate Experience working with adolescents, trauma, behavioral health, or residential treatment preferred Strong clinical documentation and communication skills required Compensation & Benefits Starting salary: $80,000 annually $90,000 annually upon LSOTP licensure Full-time position Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and supplemental insurance available Paid Time Off (PTO) available beginning on first day of employment Ongoing training and continuing education opportunities provided Supportive multidisciplinary treatment environment Opportunity for professional growth and advancement Why Join Pegasus?
