Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to clients, focusing on a variety of therapeutic modalities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The therapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering psychotherapy. Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals. Provide psychotherapy using various modalities. Utilize Motivational Interviewing techniques to support clients in their therapeutic journey. Offer crisis intervention and management services as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as needed, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Engage in case management activities to coordinate services for clients with complex needs. Conduct intake assessments for new clients while ensuring adherence to ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards. Abide by all WAC and RCW regulations along with professional code of ethics governing the position. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field required. Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (Associate) (LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent). Strong skills in crisis management and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, and Psychopharmacology. Experience with telehealth services is advantageous. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is essential. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including geriatrics and individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds. Ability to meet WA regulations for a 10-99 provider.
