Summary:
The Genetics Counselor role is responsible for assessing individual or family risk for a variety of inherited conditions, such as genetic disorders and birth defects, and advises individuals and families to support informed decision-making and coping methods for those at risk. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Master's Degree in Genetics Counseling.
License/Certifications:
Board certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG) or American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC).
Experience:
Genetic counseling experience preferred. The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $77,147.20 to $104,353.60 per year. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
