CHSCorp OH - Genetic Counseling Pay Rate Type Salary Pay Grade Health-30 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Job Description Provides genetic counseling and education to individuals and families at risk for a variety of hereditary neurological disorders, including neuromuscular, movement, cognitive, epileptic, and vascular disorders. Obtains and analyzes family medical history to identify patients at risk for specific disorders or syndromes. Recommends genetic testing as warranted and counsels patients on test results, treatment and alternative coping methods. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary clinics to provide optimal patient care.
Additional Job Description Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
