Assists with clinic flow; coordinates genetic counseling visits, walk-in clinic, and sample collection. Escorts patients to laboratory for blood draw and/or facilitates saliva collection for genetic testing. Prepares paperwork for laboratory testing, both in and outside of PSJH. Draws and updates pedigrees using software and patient history forms. Enters data into relevant tracking devices. The program assistant works as a team member with other practice staff and consistently projects a professional and courteous demeanor. This position provides clinic support to providers working remotely, including contractors. This individual must pay close attention to detail and demonstrate excellent customer service skills with patients and staff. Participation in appropriate continuing education is encouraged.
