Plans, prepares and presents brief recorded weekly content overview lectures (approx.
30 minutes) AND facilitates one synchronous, interactive weekly evening class session via Zoom for one graduate course in organizational communication based on an approved course syllabus. Live weekly class sessions are recorded and posted to Blackboard for student reference. Courses are 8-weeks in length and required live Zoom class sessions are facilitated from 6:30
9:00pm Central Time, typically on Monday or Thursday evenings. 30%
Provides timely, meaningful, supportive feedback on assignments both verbally in class and on written assignments via the learning management system to students in support of individual growth and maintaining an inviting classroom climate. 20%
Maintains office hour availability at times convenient for working adult students, and offers timely response to student questions via email. Engages with individual students in a way that demonstrates awareness of and respect for difference — and a commitment to an inviting learning environment for all. 20%
Updates existing PowerPoints, written assignment instructions, and discussions boards within learning management system (Blackboard) as needed to support student learning in each class section.
