Key Responsibilities Respond quickly to accidents, injuries, or sudden illnesses on-site. Assess patient conditions and perform life-saving actions like CPR or using an AED. Treat minor cuts, burns, and sprains by cleaning wounds and applying bandages. Call for emergency medical services (EMS) when a situation requires advanced care. Maintain first aid kits, eye-wash stations, and emergency medical supplies. Record details of accidents and treatments in compliance with safety rules. Required Qualifications & Skills Valid certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED use from a recognized organization (like the American Red Cross). Calm demeanor and clear thinking during high-pressure or stressful events. Good communication skills to talk to patients, coworkers, and emergency responders. Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and assist people as needed. Knowledge of workplace health and safety guidelines.
