Schedule:
Part Time |48 hours/pay period| flexible shifts, morning/ early afternoon| Monday through
Friday Pay Range:
$19
  • $25/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Through expert instruction, innovative fitness classes, and meaningful connections, you'll help participants maintain independence, improve functional ability, and enhance their quality of life. As a Wellness Specialist, you will: Lead Engaging Wellness Programs
  • Facilitate group exercise classes designed to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance. Provide safe and effective instruction on cardiovascular and weight training equipment. Prepare & Innovate Wellness Classes
  • Plan and organize class content, introduce new exercises, and rotate class formats to keep participants engaged. Set up before class, welcome attendees, and ensure a smooth experience from start to finish. Promote a Culture of Wellness
  • Support quarterly wellness assessments and celebrations. Seek and implement new methods to enhance wellness services, ensuring a high-quality and evolving program. Collaborate & Grow the Wellness Community
  • Build relationships across departments to expand wellness initiatives, increase program participation, and enhance the overall impact of Vivie's wellness programs. Other Duties as Assigned
  • The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and are not necessarily all inclusive.
This job also requires:
Experience in leading group exercise, wellness programs, or fitness instruction is a plus. Knowledge of safe exercise techniques, adaptive fitness, and wellness programming for older adults. Ability to physically demonstrate exercises and safely assist participants. Certification in group fitness, personal training, or wellness coaching is preferred. Ability to pass state mandated background check. Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate to residents, staff, and team members.
