Keystone Wellness Programs is looking for a dedicated Health Educator to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality, community-based health education initiatives throughout Beaver and Butler Counties. We're seeking an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to improving public health outcomes. If you're energized by collaboration, education, and outreach, and want to help tackle today's most pressing behavioral health challenges — this role is for you. What You'll Do As a member of our Health Education team, you will: Deliver engaging, evidence-based health education and prevention curricula in classrooms and community settings—primarily for youth—on topics including alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD), problem gambling and gaming, and mental health. Manage classroom environments to ensure participation and program fidelity. Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and faith-based groups to expand outreach and impact. Support policy initiatives, such as tobacco-free environments, through education and technical assistance. Support community coalition efforts through outreach and event coordination. Track and report outcomes to meet funder requirements. Stay current on topics related to the drug and alcohol prevention field, including emerging trends in substance use, tobacco/nicotine products, mental health, and problem gambling.
What We're Looking For Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Education, or a related field required. Master's degree in Human Services, Education, or a related field is a plus. Proven experience in public speaking, classroom or group facilitation, and community collaboration.
Skills & Qualifications:
Passion for working with youth, belief in the power of prevention, and a commitment to strengthening community health. Strong teaching and classroom management skills, with experience delivering evidence-based prevention curriculum to youth. Knowledge of public health topics or a willingness to learn quickly. Familiarity with local agencies and resources in Butler and Beaver Counties. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all ages and cultural backgrounds. Strong project management and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for Nonprofits. Experience with A/V equipment and presentation tools.
Additional Requirements:
Valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed). Proof of vehicle insurance. Pre-employment drug screen and successful background clearances (PA + FBI fingerprinting). Ability to lift 25+ pounds and occasionally work early mornings, evenings, or weekends. Occasional overnight travel (minimal) Why Join Us?
