What You'll Do The Internal Quality Coach will work directly inside our classrooms to: Conduct regular classroom observations using ITERS-3 and Lollipops quality expectations. Identify strengths, concerns, and specific opportunities for improvement. Coach teachers through clear, manageable goals rather than simply identifying what is wrong. Model high-quality teacher-child interactions and classroom practices. Help classrooms improve environment, routines, supervision, interactions, language development, activities, health and safety practices, and overall classroom quality. Complete follow-up observations to verify that coaching goals are being implemented. Maintain accurate coaching logs, classroom scorecards, goals, progress notes, and follow-up dates. Help teachers understand what high quality looks like and how to achieve it consistently. Work with Directors and leadership to identify classroom trends and training needs. Support classrooms in preparing for CCQS observations and quality assessments. Help ensure classroom practices remain aligned with Utah Child Care Licensing requirements and company policies.
