The Director of Health Information Management is consistent with HIM policies and procedures set forth by PAM, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Graduate of Health Information Management program with subsequent passing of the registry examination (RHIA) or accreditation (RHIT), but not required. 1-3 years' experience in a supervisory role in a Health Information Management Department is preferred.
