The Neurofeedback Technician works directly with patients to provide neurofeedback sessions in a calm, supportive, and professional environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in mental health and wellness, and wants to be part of an integrative healthcare team. Responsibilities Provide Microcurrent Neurofeedback sessions according to established protocols and training. Prepare treatment rooms and equipment before and between patient sessions. Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit. Monitor patients during sessions and communicate appropriately with the supervising provider or team when concerns arise. Document sessions accurately and maintain appropriate patient records. Explain the basic process and expectations of neurofeedback sessions to patients. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment. Follow all clinic policies, safety procedures, privacy requirements, and established treatment protocols. Communicate effectively with providers, Patient Advocates, and other members of the care team. Recognize when a patient may need additional support or provider involvement and escalate concerns appropriately. Provide compassionate, nonjudgmental support to patients throughout their experience. Qualifications Previous experience in mental health, behavioral health, healthcare, wellness, or patient care is a plus. Experience with neurofeedback or similar therapeutic modalities is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable working one-on-one with patients. Compassionate, patient, and emotionally grounded. Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented. Able to follow protocols and maintain accurate documentation. Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Must respect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is naturally warm and encouraging and genuinely enjoys helping people feel safe and supported. The ideal candidate has an interest in mental health, nervous system regulation, integrative wellness, and whole-person care and is excited to learn a specialized treatment modality.
