As a key player in our clinical team, you will collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure a safe, welcoming, and healing environment for every patient. We're seeking a professional and caring individual to join our patient-centered orthopedic practice. This position will be located in our outpatient clinics. Day shift Monday-Friday! What You'll Do As a Patient Care Technician, you will serve as the eyes and ears of our nursing team, delivering hands-on care and emotional support.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
At least 1-2 years of work experience in a medical office setting Computer literacy in an electronic medical record application Experience with, suture removal, cast/splint applications and FMLA paperwork precertification of MRI, CT, and DME orders Patient phone triage calls Excellent time management skills Positive and upbeat attitude and outstanding organizational skill What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)
Education:
We welcome applications from a range of certified or licensed healthcare professionals. Such individuals include certified registered medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, and certified athletic trainers.
Requirements include:
License:
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) / CPR certification.
Experience:
at least 1-2 years of work experience in a medical office setting. Experience with suture removal, cast/splint applications and FMLA paperwork precertification of MRI, CT, and DME orders
