Position Overview As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you are not just filling a role; you are becoming a key player in a ministry of care. Your responsibilities, under the mentorship of our Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses, are designed to fulfill our mission of treating the whole person?physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate morning and evening care routines with a focus on the individual needs and dignity of each patient. Respond immediately to reports of discomfort, embodying our culture of treating patients as trusted family members. Aid in the implementation of individualized nutritional protocols, being mindful of the interconnectedness of physical and emotional health. Exercise meticulous attention to detail in monitoring and documenting vital signs. Engage in collaborative, interdisciplinary care, contributing to our culture of holistic healing. Maintain an environment that adheres to stringent infection control standards while fostering spiritual and emotional well-being. Comply with documentation standards, ensuring that care protocols are transparent and accountable.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Current Nurse Aide Board Certification BCLS Certification Prior experience in Rehabilitation is highly desirable but not mandatory. Why Choose UMRH?
