Requisitions supplies, equipment, and services as directed.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
The following are essential job accountabilities: 1. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. 2. Performs clerical duties related to procedures within EMR. 3. Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel. 4. Keeps patient records current. 5. Prepares charts, files information, and answers telephone, and directs calls. 6. Requisitions supplies and equipment, maintenance and repair services, and prepares related forms. Keeps stock and equipment inventories. 7. Prioritizes work and provides prompt and efficient service. 8. Maintains confidentiality of patient data. 9. Maintains department records, reports, and files as required. 10. Demonstrates sensitivity to patient comfort and privacy. The following job accountabilities may be reassigned: 11. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings, and workshops. 12. Assists other members of the nursing team and/or other disciplines to include but not limited to direct patient care. 13. Attends meetings as required. 14. Maintains a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients/families in accordance with hospital standards. 15. Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. 16. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Requirements
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education High School or equivalent Minimum Experience On-the-job training or previous experiences as a monitor tech. Required Course(s)/Training BLS; Basic Arrhythmia recognition course within 6 months Preferred Education Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training Preferred Course(s)/Training Basic Arrhythmia Recognition Course Summary Do you have questions about starting your career with Northeastern Health System?
