Your expertise in assisting with daily activities and medical needs will help create a warm, supportive environment for those we serve. Duties Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and comfort Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and state healthcare regulations while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or memory care by implementing tailored approaches that enhance their quality of life Assist with feeding procedures including tube feeding when necessary, ensuring safety and proper nutrition delivery Document all care activities thoroughly in medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or similar platforms Respond promptly to resident calls or emergencies using first aid and CPR skills to stabilize individuals until further medical assistance arrives Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated experience caring for geriatric patients or individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments Knowledge of basic physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and senior care best practices Familiarity with medical documentation procedures and medical records management in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations Hands-on experience with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, catheter care, and heavy lifting techniques for resident safety Experience working within EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or similar platforms for accurate recordkeeping Valid certification in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications like hospice care or Alzheimer's care are advantageous Join us to make a positive impact through compassionate caregiving!
