Support Tech- Imaging Riverside Smithfield Hospital - 3.6 Smithfield, VA Job Details Full-time $16.20 - $21.08 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Smithfield, Virginia Hiring Range $16.20 - $21.08/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs. Overview This position performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures, and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population. Performing a variety of duties associated with patient preparation, supplies and clerical support. Complies with National Patient Safety Goals, HIPAA, guidelines, and Corporate Compliance polices. Ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information. Provide the care needed as described in the departmental policy and procedure guide, to assist staff technologist. Collaborates with team members, physicians and physician office staff to provide for the specialized needs of the patients. Anticipates resource needs. Takes accountability consistently for daily responsibilities in addition to patient care. Demonstrates organization of work, knowledge of process/procedure and performs independently without close supervision to support efficient and effective operations. Demonstrates excellent working knowledge of procedure time allotments to ensure patient care needs are met. Executes workflow processes are accurately and timely to support daily financial expectations showing minimal account related variances. What you will do Performs a variety of technical and administrative tasks to support the staff Technologists. Documents appropriately. Performs duties to support patient preparation for the procedure. Anticipates resource needs and provides need supplies. Collaborates with team members, physicians, and physician office staff to provide for the specialized needs of the patient. Provides care as directed and outlined in department policy and procedure guide.
