Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medical Technician (Med Tech), where your expertise will directly impact the quality of life for residents in senior living and healthcare facilities. In this vital role, you will assist with patient care, medication administration, and daily activities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment. Your skills in medical documentation, vital signs monitoring, and understanding of healthcare regulations will help uphold the highest standards of resident care. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities in electronic health record (EHR) systems Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates regularly Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice support, and tube feeding procedures Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect resident confidentiality and ensure privacy standards are met Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity Follow state healthcare regulations and facility policies related to patient safety, manual handling, and medical documentation Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or home care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior care practices Certification in First Aid and CPR required Maintain current Food Worker Card through WA Department of Health Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks involved in patient care Valid HCA or CNA license is required Join us to be part of a compassionate team committed to delivering exceptional care! $19.50 - $20.50 per hour
