Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. This vital role involves delivering personalized assistance, ensuring safety, and promoting well-being within a dynamic healthcare environment. Duties Provide comprehensive personal care assistance to residents or patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate medical documentation Support residents with specialized needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's care by implementing memory-enhancement activities and safety measures Assist with feeding procedures, including tube feeding when necessary, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and uphold patient confidentiality at all times Operate electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate data entry and documentation Conduct manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and transfer of residents using proper techniques Respond promptly to emergency situations with first aid or CPR certification skills, ensuring resident safety at all times Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans aligned with state healthcare regulations and best practices Qualifications Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior care best practices Hands-on experience with medical documentation systems such as EMR or EHR platforms like Epic or Cerner Valid CPR and first aid certifications; additional certifications in hospice care or dementia care are a plus Familiarity with medication administration protocols and medical records management Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling while maintaining safety standards Strong communication skills for caregiver interactions and resident engagement Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality Understanding of state healthcare regulations relevant to senior living and medical care settings Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives!
