Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health and mental health services. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and foster a collaborative environment for our multidisciplinary team. Your leadership will drive clinical excellence, promote innovative treatment approaches, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals with diverse mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and co-occurring disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental health counseling, behavioral therapy, and supporting both patients and staff in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting. Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and leadership to masters level therapists, behavioral specialists, and support staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional mental health and behavioral care. Oversee patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing case management for individuals across age groups, including children and adolescents. Lead clinical team meetings to coordinate care strategies, review patient progress, and implement evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems while safeguarding patient confidentiality. Manage crisis intervention efforts, including crisis management protocols and emergency response procedures for patients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises. Collaborate with families, schools, community agencies, and healthcare providers to support holistic client care plans that address social work needs, family dynamics, and behavioral management strategies. Monitor clinical outcomes through data collection and research initiatives to continuously improve service quality and effectiveness. Ensure Medicaid and regulatory bodies compliance with applicable standards and licensing requirements. Implement therapeutic milieu expectations and ongoing success. Experience Proven management experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting with a strong background in clinical supervision. Extensive hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health conditions such as PTSD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, substance use disorders (SUD), co-occurring disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic evaluation using
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems; familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes is preferred. Skilled in delivering individual therapy, group therapy sessions, child & family counseling, and specialized interventions like behavior management techniques. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions; experience working within hospital or outpatient settings is advantageous. Proficiency in working with electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) systems; experience documenting medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA standards. Exceptional communication skills for client engagement, case management coordination, patient assessment discussions, and working effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience working with individuals who have disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism; familiarity with special education practices is a plus. $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
