FLEX JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Director provides professional mental health services to individuals, families, and groups to support psychological wellness, emotional stability, and behavioral change. Working within a state agency framework, the Clinical Director conducts clinical assessments, develops and implements treatment plans, delivers therapeutic interventions, provides crisis support, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care. The Clinical Director maintains ethical standards, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. The Clinical Director will supervise Qualified Behavior Health Professionals for Next Step and will be on call for emergency intervention. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health field. At least two (2) years of experience providing mental health services in a clinic, agency, healthcare, correctional, or related setting. Required Licensure Must possess and maintain the current license and professional credentials required to provide professional mental health services.
Some examples include:
Psychologist, LCSW, LPC, RN or Advanced Practice Nurse, with a specialty in psychiatry or mental health, etc. Special Requirements Must adhere to all applicable Arkansas laws and regulations governing professional counseling services. Must comply with the most current American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics and/or appropriate association, unless otherwise superseded by Arkansas law. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for portions of the minimum qualifications upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee; however, licensure requirements may not be substituted.
