Administrator for Residential Facility (Memory Care)

Job Description

Qualifications:
Have a minimum of two years of prior experience providing direct care or supervision to individuals with Alzheimer's/Dementia. Active ARF administrator certification. First aid & CPR, CPI trained, renew annually hands on and in-person training. Administrator must complete the resident service orientation as required. Complete a minimum of 16 emergency intervention-training hours annually. Background clearance and maintain fingerprint clearance the entire time of employment. Driver's license. Must be available to work after hours, weekends, and holidays. DSP year 1 and 2 (preferred) Active RBT, or licensed psychiatric technician, or a qualified behavior modification professional (preferred)
Duties:
The administrator will be responsible for coordinating the development and updates of IBSP. The administrator will complete monthly facility reports for each individual. Coordinate the monthly IBSP meeting. The administrator will manage staffing hours to ensure that ratio is maintained. The administrator will supervise staffing care of individuals. The administrator will train staff on the program design and adherence to the program. The administrator will monitor the documentation to ensure accuracy. The administrator will meet with the individuals to ensure person-centered planning. The administrator will oversee the budget for the facility. The administrator will interview and hire qualified staff. The administrator will fire and discipline staff when necessary. The administrator will oversee the staff to ensure that regulations, policies, and procedures are followed. The administrator will coordinate with the QBMP on training for staff. The administrator will coordinate with the QBMP on monitoring the staff's RBTCEUs and training. The administrator will train staff on how to provide the highest quality of care. The administrator will oversee the payroll and payroll records. The administrator will take after-hour calls in the event of emergencies. Ensure staff obtain RBT and DSP certificates in the period allowed per regulations. Ensure all consultants' licenses are up to date and filed in the facility. Ensure consulting hours are being met for each individual. Medical appointments are being completed with follow-up if needed. Ensure the facility always follows Title 17 & Title 22 regulations.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
