Licensed Clinical Director

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, licensed Clinical Director to lead our residential mental health treatment programs. This leader will oversee our day to day clinical operations, they will support and supervise a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the delivery of exceptional, client-centered care that promotes retention and successful treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, mentor, and supervise clinicians, program directors, on-site leadership, internal staff, and 1099 providers Provide direct clinical services, including group facilitation and crisis intervention Strengthen client engagement, satisfaction, retention, and length of stay Lead AMA prevention efforts through proactive clinical oversight and crisis management Oversee utilization review (UR) and maintain strong relationships with insurance representatives Ensure appropriate levels of care across psychological, medical, psychiatric, vocational, housing, legal, case management, and recreational domains Review, audit, and ensure accuracy of clinical documentation; monitor EMR compliance and chart integrity Supervise discharge planning in accordance with clinical best practices and program standards Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality care Remain current on all clinical documentation and regulatory requirements Serve as on-site lead during state and local licensing visits Participate in on-call rotation and provide leadership support as needed
Qualifications:
Active clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent) with clinical supervision experience Experience in residential behavioral health (mental health and substance use disorders) Strong leadership, crisis management, and team-building skills Expansive knowledge of EMR systems, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance Experience with UR, insurance coordination, and client retention strategies Our mission is to provide a positive, impactful treatment experience that empowers clients to achieve therapeutic goals and extend their recovery journey. $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
