This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing teams, and driving practice growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare management, dental office operations, and team supervision, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Regional Dental Manager, you will champion operational excellence, foster a positive work environment, and ensure the highest standards of patient service and regulatory compliance are maintained across all sites. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the daily operations of multiple dental practices within your region, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient care. Supervise clinic staff including dental professionals, administrative personnel, and support teams to promote a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and resource allocation to maximize practice profitability. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, health policy policies, and OSHA requirements. Manage medical office systems including EMR/EHR systems like Dentrix and Eaglesoft to optimize patient records management and streamline administrative workflows. Implement staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, medical terminology accuracy, medical billing procedures, and medical administrative support. Monitor clinic performance metrics; analyze data related to patient management software and utilization management to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with human resources on staff recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to build strong teams. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare practice management trends, health regulation policies, managed care protocols, and medical office management best practices. Foster a culture of compliance with medical records management standards while promoting patient safety and confidentiality. Experience Proven managerial experience in healthcare or dental office management with a focus on supervising teams in a clinical setting. Extensive knowledge of medical office systems such as EMR/EHR platforms (Dentrix, Eaglesoft), patient management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, billing procedures, and resource planning. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, health policy policies, and utilization management protocols. Experience in managing multiple clinics or practices within a healthcare network is highly desirable. Background in nursing or acute/critical care experience is advantageous for understanding clinical workflows and patient care standards. Excellent managerial communication skills paired with customer service expertise to foster positive relationships with staff and patients alike. Ability to adapt quickly to evolving healthcare policies and technology systems while maintaining high operational standards.
