The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care. As a Patient Coordinator and Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to support clinical procedures, prepare treatment rooms, assist patients, and help ensure a positive experience for every patient. Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with appointment scheduling Manage patient check-in and check-out processes while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by applicable regulations Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions Requirements Proven experience in medical office support or administrative roles Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle phone communication professionally and courteously Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Excellent clerical skills including filing, typing (10 key typing), data entry, and maintaining organized medical records Ability to adhere to clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive health information Office experience in a healthcare environment is preferred; dental clinic experience is a bonus If you are looking for an opportunity to grow with a supportive dental team, we would love to hear from you.
