Chiropractic Assistant + New Patient Coordinator Specific Chiropractic Milford, CT Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Intake Experience working with children Attention to detail Full Job Description Chiropractic Assistant + New Patient Coordinator We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, highly personable individual to join our growing family chiropractic team. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves working with people, enjoys children and families, is comfortable learning technology, and can confidently guide new patients through their first experience in our office. You will be an important part of both the clinical and front desk experience . In addition to scheduling, greeting patients, collecting payments, and keeping the office organized, you will work directly with new patients during their initial visits, including performing nerve and muscle scans using our in-office scanning technology. We have a busy office in Milford, CT What You'll Be Responsible ForNew Patient Experience + Clinical Support You will help create an exceptional experience from the moment a new patient walks through our doors.
Responsibilities include:
Welcoming new patients and helping them feel comfortable and cared for Guiding patients through the new patient intake process Reviewing intake information and making sure all necessary paperwork is complete Performing nerve and muscle scans using our in-office scanning technology Clearly explaining what you are doing during the scanning process so patients feel comfortable Preparing patient information and scan results for the doctors Keeping the new patient process organized, efficient, and on schedule Learning and following our clinical procedures and office systems Maintaining patient privacy and professionalism at all times You do not need previous experience performing these scans. We will train the right person. You do need to be comfortable learning new technology, working directly with patients, and following a specific process accurately. Front Desk + Patient Experience You will also help run the day-to-day flow of the office, including: Greeting every patient warmly when they arrive Answering phones and text messages Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments Scheduling new patients and helping them understand what to expect Collecting payments Scheduling patients' next appointments Keeping patient information and office systems organized Participating in morning team huddles with the doctors Opening and closing the office Helping keep the office running smoothly during busy patient hours Holding babies or entertaining little ones while Mom or Dad sees the doctor when needed This is a family focused environment. Who We're Looking For The right person is: Warm, outgoing, and confident with people Extremely dependable and punctual Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment Able to communicate professionally and clearly Comfortable working hands-on with patients Excited and willing to learn clinical scanning technology Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new technology Comfortable using spreadsheets and learning new software Able to follow systems and procedures consistently Able to move between patient care responsibilities and front desk responsibilities throughout the day Calm and capable when the office gets busy Someone who takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what needs to happen Interested in natural and holistic health Genuinely excited to work with pregnant women, babies, children, and families Bi-lingual is a plus but not necessary (English and Spanish) Previous chiropractic or healthcare experience is a plus, but it is not required . We care more about finding someone with the right personality, work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. What an Average Day Could Look Like Your day begins at 7:30 AM You'll open the office, prepare for the day, respond to outstanding texts and phone messages, and make sure everything is ready before patients arrive. You'll participate in a morning huddle with the doctors to review the schedule, new patients, and anything the team needs to know for the day. Throughout the day, you'll move between the front desk and patient care responsibilities. You may be greeting patients and collecting payments one minute, performing scans for a new patient the next, answering the phone, scheduling appointments, helping a parent with their child, or preparing the next new patient for the doctor. At the end of the day, you'll help close the office and prepare everything for the following day. This role requires someone who enjoys variety and can move confidently between responsibilities without losing attention to detail or the patient experience.
