WinnMed is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to join our team supporting the clinic operations at the Decorah, IA Clinic! As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), you will have an important role in supporting daily clinic operations and ensuring an exceptional experience for our patients. Working closely with providers, nurses, and other healthcare team members, you will perform a variety of clerical, electronic, clinical support, and customer service responsibilities that contribute to efficient, high-quality care. In this role, you may welcome and room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and help maintain the accuracy and flow of patient information, including medical records, test results, and other healthcare documentation. You will also serve as a key communication resource by answering phones, coordinating verbal and written communication, and facilitating information exchange among patients, families, providers, and care team members. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to providing outstanding service while supporting a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE), Monday•Friday8•hour day shifts, 5 days per weekLocated at the Decorah Clinic.

Hours are:

8:00 a.m.•5:00 p.m., Monday•Friday.
