401(k) Employee discounts Health insurance Paid time off Patient Care Coordinator - Endodontic Specialty Practice Grayslake Endodontics | Grayslake/Hainesville, IL Part-Time | 2-3 days per week | Potential for Full-Time Growth $20-$25/hour, based on experience Grayslake Endodontics is a privately owned endodontic specialty practice focused on providing compassionate, high-quality root canal and tooth-saving treatment. We are looking for a warm, organized, detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role. As the first voice and face many patients encounter, you will help create a calm, reassuring, and professional experience for patients who may be in pain, anxious, or coming to us through a referral from their general dentist. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, emotionally intelligent, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. Dental front office experience is preferred, and experience in a specialty practice is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting patients warmly and helping them feel welcomed and cared for Checking patients in and out efficiently Assisting patients with registration forms, medical history updates, consent forms, and insurance information Answering phone calls with professionalism, warmth, and confidence Scheduling consultations, treatment appointments, emergency visits, and follow-up care Communicating with referring dental offices regarding referrals, records, x-rays, and patient needs Helping manage the flow of patient information before the appointment so visits run smoothly Assisting with insurance verification, benefit breakdowns, and treatment estimates Collecting copays and patient portions at the time of service Submitting insurance claims and supporting basic claim follow-up Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation Supporting the office manager and clinical team with daily administrative needs Helping ensure every patient has a clear, calm, and positive experience from first phone call to final checkout We are looking for someone who: Has excellent communication and problem solving skills Is kind, calm, and professional with patients Is highly organized and attentive to details Can manage multiple priorities without losing warmth Is comfortable discussing scheduling, insurance, and patient financial responsibility Enjoys being part of a small, private practice team Is dependable, coachable, and willing to grow Preferred qualifications: Minimum 1 year of dental front office experience preferred Experience with insurance verification, claims, scheduling, and patient communication preferred Specialty dental experience, especially endodontics or oral surgery, is a plus but not required
Schedule:
Part-time, 2-3 days per week, with potential for additional days Office hours are generally Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM No nights and no weekends
Compensation:
