About the Role Peak Performance Health & Wellness is seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. This full-time role supports a busy wellness clinic and administrative operations, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping patients while keeping systems organized. The ideal candidate has previous medical office experience, strong multitasking abilities, and excellent customer service skills. You will be the first point of contact for patients and play an important role in ensuring the office runs smoothly while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries Verify patient information and update records in the system Handle check-in and check-out processes Collect payments and assist with basic billing questions Scan and upload patient documents into the electronic medical record Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times Follow all privacy policies and secure handling of patient records Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area Assist with general administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements Experience with patient scheduling systems or electronic medical records required Strong multitasking and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills Positive attitude and professional demeanor Outstanding customer service and communication skills Comfortable using computers and office software We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and detail-oriented Friendly and patient-focused A strong communicator Able to manage multiple tasks while staying organized Committed to protecting patient privacy and maintaining confidentiality Motivated to help create a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient
