Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite MS Companies is seeking an Onsite Workforce Supervisor to support a large manufacturing customer in Princeton, IL. This position serves as the primary liaison between the customer, workforce, and MS Companies while overseeing recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, payroll support, and workforce performance activities. Required Skills & Qualifications Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, workforce management, human resources, or manufacturing operations
Experience supporting high-volume hiring and employee relations activities
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR/ATS software systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation Preferred Skills & Qualifications Nice-to-have qualifications that would make a candidate more competitive:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field
Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, logistics, or industrial environments
Knowledge of I-9 compliance, onboarding, and employment documentation requirements
Experience conducting employee coaching, counseling, and corrective actions
Payroll processing or timekeeping system experience
Experience managing workforce metrics, staffing reports, and retention initiatives
Knowledge of OSHA, HazCom, and workplace safety requirements
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Manage customer staffing requirements and workforce planning activities
Recruit, source, screen, and interview candidates using ATS platforms, job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach efforts
Coordinate onboarding activities including I-9 verification, background checks, drug screens, and required employment documentation
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned employees and customer representatives
Monitor employee attendance, performance, engagement, and retention initiatives
Conduct employee coaching, counseling, corrective actions, and exit interviews as necessary
Process payroll-related information, workforce reports, headcount tracking, and operational metrics
Support safety initiatives, workplace observations, and compliance with customer and company policies Physical and Environment Requirements Physical expectations and working conditions associated with this position may include:
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and movement throughout a manufacturing facility and office environment
Regular use of computers, phones, and workforce management systems
Ability to travel locally to customer locations, recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach activities as needed
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Exposure to manufacturing and production environments requiring adherence to safety policies and personal protective equipment requirements
