Location:
Springfield Residential• 2200 Lake Victoria Dr, Springfield, IL 62703 Residential Center•Adult Male and Female population
Work Schedule:
Mon•Friday, 9AM•5PM; also includes 1 evening shift and rotating weekends Substance Use Clinical Supervisors are responsible for: Providing clinical supervision to staff responsible for delivering services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders
Overseeing client services and ensuring compliance with established program standards and service delivery objectives
Auditing client records
Assisting in interviewing, selecting, evaluating, scheduling and disciplining assigned staff
Orienting and training staff
Serving as a resource to assigned staff in identifying and resolving complex case problems
Assuming client caseload in response to work load or staffing shortages
Other duties as assigned
Supervises assigned staff in hospital settings pursuant to a federal grant
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field required
Current certification as a substance abuse counselor (CADC) or higher licensure (LPC, LSW) in state of hire required
3•5 years of clinical experience in the treatment of substance abuse with at least 1 year of supervisory experience is required
Related work experience with program specific population (adolescent/adult) and residential treatment setting required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read
Ability to use a keyboard and video display terminal to receive, retrieve, and/or audit information and data
Ability to respond to telephones, and to hear and detect alarms and unusual noises Compensation (based on experience and credentials): Range begins at $70,000•$97,498/year
Starting rates are determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and relevant skills.
