Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Plastic Surgery Patient Management Coordinator to join our plastic surgery practice in Chevy Chase. We seek a focused, energetic self-starter to manage patients from initial contact through consultation, pre-operative procedures, and post-surgical needs. General knowledge of plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures is a plus, and familiarity with surgical scheduling is useful. The position is open immediately, and only qualified candidates need apply. The ideal candidate has a previous background in plastic surgery scheduling and medical administrative support, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding patient care. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between patients and medical staff, ensuring seamless coordination of appointments, treatment plans, and patient inquiries. Your expertise will help deliver a positive patient experience while maintaining compliance with health regulations, policies, and confidentiality standards. Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients via phone and client communication channels, addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy. Assist with medical administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining accurate patient records. Support the plastic surgeon by coordinating pre-operative assessments, post-operative care instructions, and ensuring timely communication of treatment plans. Uphold strict confidentiality of patient information. Collaborate with medical staff to streamline office operations, improve patient flow, and enhance overall service quality. Requirements Proven experience working in a plastic surgery practice environment or cosmetic setting, preferably within surgical or cosmetic specialties. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with patient management software. Strong knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy, documentation standards, and medical compliance. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to plastic surgery procedures is an advantage. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in typing and data entry to ensure precise record-keeping.
Pay:
$26.54 - $31.97 per hour
