Hybrid—16 on-site hours and four remote hours weekly Position Overview An established Maryland Outpatient Mental Health Center is seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Part-Time Clinical Director to oversee clinical operations, supervise staff, and support regulatory and accreditation compliance. This position is ideal for a Maryland Board-approved LCSW-C supervisor with OMHC leadership experience who enjoys developing clinicians, improving systems, and maintaining high standards of client care. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group clinical supervision. Lead and support clinical and administrative staff. Monitor staff attendance, productivity, documentation, and deadlines. Review assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other clinical records. Ensure documentation meets medical-necessity, Medicaid, COMAR, HIPAA, and organizational requirements. Provide consultation regarding treatment planning, ethical concerns, crises, and complex cases. Support staff onboarding, training, coaching, and performance improvement. Maintain compliant supervision records. Conduct clinical and personnel-file audits. Support CARF readiness, mock surveys, corrective-action plans, and policy implementation. Assist with licensing reviews, Medicaid audits, incident reviews, quality assurance, and performance-improvement activities. Communicate significant concerns and recommended solutions to executive leadership. Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Maryland LCSW-C license. Current Maryland Board-approved clinical supervisor status. Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution. Direct experience working in and managing a Maryland OMHC. Experience supervising clinicians and managing staff. Knowledge of COMAR, Maryland Medicaid, HIPAA, medical necessity, and OMHC documentation standards. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and follow-through. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CARF accreditation, survey preparation, or ongoing compliance. Participation in a CARF survey or accreditation renewal. Experience conducting mock surveys or clinical-record audits. Experience developing corrective-action plans. Five or more years of post-graduate behavioral health experience. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate is: Organized, proactive, and attentive to detail. Schedule This position requires a consistent 20-hour weekly schedule, including 16 hours on-site in Ellicott City and four approved remote hours. Occasional evening availability may be required for meetings or clinical supervision. Compensation $55-$65 per hour, based on OMHC leadership, clinical supervision, compliance, and CARF experience.
