Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Patient Care Coordinator/Office Manager to join our dental office team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental office administration, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding patient support. In this role, you will oversee daily office operations, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure compliance with health regulations while fostering a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be vital in maintaining efficient clinic workflows and delivering exemplary service. Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications using patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries via phone and client communication channels with professionalism and empathy. Maintain accurate and confidential dental records in compliance with health regulation policies and privacy standards. Support dental office administrative functions such as billing, insurance verification, entering EOBs with accuracy and processing claims , pre authorizations while ensuring adherence to dental health insurance policies. Coordinate with dental healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient flow and timely delivery of care. Oversee office operations including inventory management, supply ordering, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace aligned with safety standards. Assist with onboarding new staff members by providing training on office procedures, dental terminology, and EHR/EHR management systems. Experience Proven experience working in a dental office environment or dental healthcare setting with familiarity in dental administrative support roles. Strong knowledge of dental health regulation policies, patient confidentiality protocols, and health insurance procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes. Experience using patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to manage patient data efficiently. Excellent customer service skills combined with effective phone communication abilities to engage with patients professionally. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy through typing skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of dental terminology is preferred to facilitate clear communication within the dental healthcare team. Pay:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 64.0 - 70.0 per week
