This is a full-time opportunity for someone with a strong background in dental insurance billing who is comfortable managing insurance and patient accounts in a busy dental office. Schedule Full-Time, Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities Manage dental insurance billing and related account activity Post insurance payments and checks accurately into the practice management system Monitor and follow up on outstanding insurance claims and aging reports Monitor patient aging and outstanding patient balances Prepare and manage patient statements Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits Maintain accurate insurance and patient account information Follow up on unpaid or delayed insurance claims Assist with patient coordination and front-office responsibilities as needed Communicate professionally with patients, insurance carriers, and members of the dental team Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of dental insurance billing experience Strong knowledge of dental insurance billing, claims, payments, and account follow-up Experience working with insurance aging and patient aging Experience with insurance verification Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to independently manage insurance-related responsibilities and follow through on outstanding accounts Preferred Qualifications Experience with Dentrix Previous medical billing experience Broader dental front-office or patient coordination experience Benefits Medical and Vision Insurance 401k Matching Short-term and Long-term Disability PTO and Sick-time Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced dental insurance professional who understands the complete insurance billing cycle and can confidently manage claims, payments, aging accounts, statements, and insurance verification.
