(HHI), a private non-profit corporation, is one of the largest freestanding behavioral healthcare agencies in the area. HHI, accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Michigan, provides a broad array of mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention services to individuals of all ages. Turning Point Clubhouse is a licensed and accredited private rehab specializing in Dual Diagnosis (Co-Occuring Disorders), Mental Health, and Addiction Treatment. The Clubhouse Coordinator provides onsite day-to-day administration of Turning Point assuring the care, safety and protection of the members. The Clubhouse Coordinator ensures compliance with all required state and Hegira Health policies.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Days. Availability to work evenings and weekends in support of program offerings.
CLUBHOUSE COODINATOR REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree specializing in social work, counseling, human behavioral science, or related field. Two plus years experience in a mental health position working with adults diagnosed with SMI and/or SUD. Two plus years program leadership experience in a similar facility/program. Strong leadership skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.
CLUBHOUSE COORDINATOR
(Summary of): Technical Coordinate the intake, screening and referral processes. Responsible for the initial orientation of clients to Turning Point and for the completion of the Initial Treatment Plan and coordination of all treatment meetings. Carry a caseload of up to 10 clients. Responsible for the integration of work adjustment clients into the work units. Participate in in-service training, clinical supervision, case staffing, consultations, utilization review meetings, etc. Communicate with the public regarding mental health needs and services in the community. Participate as program liaison to payor sources, community outreach organizations, etc., as assigned. Ensure clubhouse capacity is maintained via monitoring of census. Ensure all MDHHS reporting requirements are being met and completed timely. Responsible for assessing and proposing program improvements to maximize access to services. Maintain up-to-date daily program schedule. Ensure emergency preparedness items are ready at all times. Staff Management Interview, hire and orient new staff. Ensure that all staff complete required training and are skilled in identifying and managing clinical risk. Provide ongoing training and developmental opportunities for staff. Set clear expectations for staff performance. Facility Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and ensure staff exhibit the same. Ensure services are provided in a safe, clean, and secure environment. Interpersonal Encourage a cooperative working environment within and between staff disciplines. Foster a trauma-informed, collaborative team culture. Establish effective relationships with key community liaisons, service providers and funding sources.
