Job Description

Bright SmilesDental Care is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organized Dental Front Desk / Patient Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and highly proficient and accurate with computers and data entry . This position requires excellent patient communication skills and the ability to manage multiple front desk responsibilities efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience Answer and manage incoming phone calls Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments Maintain an organized and productive dental schedule Check patients in and out Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Enter and update patient information accurately and efficiently Assist with insurance claims and patient account information Collect payments and discuss patient balances professionally Follow up with patients regarding appointments and treatment Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and provider Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Perform front desk tasks using dental practice management software Help maintain smooth and efficient daily front office operations Qualifications Previous dental front desk experience strongly preferred Experience with Open Dental is a plus. Must be highly proficient with computers Must have excellent accuracy with data entry and attention to detail Ability to learn and navigate software efficiently Strong typing and computer navigation skills Experience with dental scheduling and patient coordination Experience with dental insurance verification and claims preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Professional, friendly, and dependable Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Excellent customer service skills with phone etiquette and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced, computer proficient, accurate, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental front office . Attention to detail is very important, particularly when entering patient information, insurance details, appointments, payments, and other clinical or administrative information. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities and provides excellent customer service while helping the office operate efficiently.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 32.0 per week
