Full-time Refractions is seeking a mental health professional to work at our Saint Augusta and Little Falls locations.
You will work with a team of licensed professionals and behavioral health practitioners. In addition, you may collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to provide supportive care for clients. Offer support and guidance to clients' families and caregivers to facilitate understanding and healing. Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards. Know 245I requirements and assist clients' journey towards mental wellness and improving their quality of life . You will specifically be responsible for conducting diagnostic assessment interviews with clients and writing the diagnostic assessments. (Sometimes, possibly two per week.) In addition to attending a weekly meeting at each of our three locations. Other duties may be assigned based on clients and facility need.
Provide direct support and assistance to patients with mental health disorders
Assist in implementing treatment plans as directed by mental health professionals
Conduct group therapy sessions and activities
Provide Staff Supervision
Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Utilize medical terminology effectively in patient interactions
Engage in data collection and maintain accurate records of patient information
Qualifications:
Previous experience or knowledge in psychopharmacology, addiction counseling, PTSD care, art therapy, psychotherapy, geriatrics, or related fields is advantageous
Familiarity with treatment plans and group therapy techniques
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Willingness to learn and adapt to the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare setting
