Job Summary Overview We are a growing outpatient mental health clinic seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to our team of mental health professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed clinician who enjoys both clinical work and leadership and wants to play an important role in the continued growth of a supportive, patient-centered mental health practice. The Clinical Director will oversee clinical operations, support and supervise clinicians, maintain high standards of patient care, and work closely with practice leadership to ensure our clinical team has the guidance and resources needed to succeed. Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and oversight for therapists and other clinical staff Support clinicians with complex cases, treatment planning, clinical decision-making, and documentation Monitor clinical quality and ensure services meet professional, ethical, and regulatory standards Review clinical documentation and provide feedback and guidance as needed Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development of new clinicians Promote a supportive, collaborative, and accountable clinical culture Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and best practices Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, therapists, administrative staff, and practice leadership Assist with clinician performance management and ongoing professional development Help identify opportunities to improve patient care, clinician satisfaction, and clinical operations Maintain knowledge of applicable New Jersey regulations, licensing requirements, ethical standards, and clinical best practices Qualifications Active and unrestricted New Jersey clinical license Independent clinical licensure required, such as LPC, LCSW, or equivalent Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Clinical supervision experience strongly preferred Previous leadership, management, or clinical oversight experience preferred Strong knowledge of outpatient behavioral health services Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to provide constructive feedback while maintaining a supportive and collaborative environment Commitment to high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered mental health care Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who enjoys mentoring and developing other therapists. Pay:
$60.00 - $85.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
