Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Front Desk / Patient Coordinator to join our dental practice. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing phone communications, and assisting with health insurance processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and a solid understanding of dental office operations to ensure a smooth patient experience from appointment scheduling to insurance billing. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Manage incoming phone calls, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently Verify patient information and assist with health insurance questions and billing procedures Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth daily operations Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and payment processing Educate patients on treatment plans and insurance coverage options as needed Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times Knowledge of Dental software - Dentrix/ Denticon/ Opendental is a plus Qualifications Proven experience as a front desk or patient coordinator in a dental setting Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude Excellent phone communication abilities and active listening skills Knowledge of health insurance policies and billing procedures related to dental care Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Proficiency in dental practice management software is preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in healthcare administration are a plus
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
